Project overview

A Doha-based corporate headquarters wanted to replace imported salad mixes with on-site production that reinforced employee well-being goals. Crop Urbanis scoped, delivered and stabilised a plug-and-play hydroponic farm that fits within a meeting-room footprint while respecting office constraints.

Challenges & approach

  1. Integrate hydroponic infrastructure into a premium office without disrupting daily operations.
  2. Maintain stable climate and nutrient quality despite desert heat and HVAC fluctuations.
  3. Equip non-agronomist staff to handle routine tasks, harvesting and food safety compliance.

Our contribution

  1. Specified low-noise, closed-loop hydroponic racks with LED spectra tuned for leafy crops and herbs.
  2. Installed and commissioned the system, calibrating nutrient recipes and irrigation schedules for office conditions.
  3. Authored bilingual SOPs, trained facilities teams and provided remote dashboards for crop and water quality monitoring.
